2000: Jamestown Jammers (Jamestown, NY), New York-Pennsylvania League. The Jammers were a Class A- affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. Keoni played 20 games with the Jammers and batted .303. Macon Braves (Macon, GA), South Atlantic League. The Braves were a Class A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. Keoni played 38 games with Macon. 2001: Greenville Braves (Greenville, SC), Southern League. The Braves were a Class AA affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. They finished in 8th place in 2001, with a record of 60-79. The Braves were managed that year by Paul Runge. Keoni played in 130 games in 2001. Teams in the league that year were: Birmingham (AL) Barons, Carolina Mudcats (Zebulon, NC), Chattanooga (TN) Lookouts, Jacksonville (FL) Suns, Mobile Bay Bears (Mobile, AL), Orlando (FL) Rays, Tennessee Smokies (Knoxville, TN), and the West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx (Jackson, TN).

2002: Greenville Braves (Greenville, SC), Southern League. The Braves finished in 7th place with a record of 65-69. They were managed by Brian Snitker. Keoni played in 107 games that year. The league teams were the same as 2001.

2003: Greenville Braves (Greenville, SC), Southern League. Keoni only played in 23 games with Greenville in 2003. Teams were the same as 2001.

2003: Trenton Thunder (Trenton, NJ), Eastern League. The Thunder are a Class AA affiliate of the New York Yankees. The Thunder finished the season in 7th place with a record of 70-71. They were managed by Stump Merrill. Keoni played in 37 games with Trenton. 2004: Lancaster Jethawks (Lancaster, CA), California League. The Jethawks were a Class A Advanced (A+) affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Keoni played in 15 games with the Jethawks. Other teams in the league (all in California) were: Bakersfield Blaze, High Desert Mavericks (Adelanto), Inland Empire 66ers (San Bernardino), Lake Elsinore Storm, Modesto A's, Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, San Jose Giants, Stockton Ports and the Visalia Oaks.

2004: El Paso Diablos (El Paso, TX), Texas League. At the time the Diablos were a Class AA affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Keoni only played in 17 games with the Diablos. Other teams in the league (in Texas unless otherwise noted) were: Arkansas Travelers (Little Rock, AR), Frisco Rough Riders, Midland Rockhounds, Round Rock Express, San Antonio Missions, Tulsa (OK) Drillers, and the Wichita (KS) Wranglers.

2004: Tucson Sidewinders (Tucson, AZ), Pacific Coast League. The Sidewinders are the AAA affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The majority, 87 games, of Keoni's season was spent with Tucson. 2006: Portland Sea Dogs (Portland, ME), Eastern League. The Sea Dogs are the AA affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Keoni played 77 games with the Sea Dogs, despite spending time on the diabled list. The Sea Dogs finished 4th in the league, with a record of 72-67, but were also League Champions. 2006: Pawtucket Red Sox (Pawtucket, RI), International League. The Red Sox are the AAA affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Keoni was called up to the PawSox for 10 games in July, so other teams are not listed.
2007: Signed in January by the Cleveland Indians, Keoni played in a couple of spring training games but was released in the beginning of April.

2007: York Revolution (York, PA), Atlantic League (an independent league). Keoni was signed by York on June 19, 2007. He played in 82 games and batted .302. Other teams in the Atlantic League in 2007 were: Long Island (NY) Ducks, Newark (NJ) Bears, Bridgeport (CT) Bluefish, Atlantic League Road Warriors (travel team out of PA), Somerset (Bridgewater, NJ) Patriots, Camden (NJ) Riversharks and Lancaster (PA) Barnstormers.
2008: York Revolution (York, PA), Atlantic League. York finished in third place in their division, 3 games behind the Somerset Patriots, and 4th overall in the league. Keoni batted .246 in 129 games. Teams were the same as the previous year, except for the Southern Maryland (Waldorf, MD) Blue Crabs replacing the Atlantic League Road Warriors.
2009: York Revolution (York, PA), Atlantic League. York finished in fourth place in the league. Keoni batted .289 in 128 games.
2010: Keoni re-signed with the York
Revolution in January and was to be the team's first-ever captain. However, on March 2 he was invited to spring training with the Philadelphia
Phillies. On April 5 he was announced as a player (SS)-coach for the Lakewood (NJ) BlueClaws, a class-A affiliate of the
Phillies in the Northern Division of the South Atlantic League. In mid-April he was called up to the Reading (PA) Phillies, a AA affiliate of the Phillies, playing in the Eastern Division of the Eastern League. DeRenne played nine games before getting a contusion on his shin and
causing him to be put on the Disabled List on April 30. When he was reactivated on May 7, Keoni was sent to the Clearwater (FL) Threshers, an A+ affiliate in the North Division of the Florida State League, where he played in only three games. On May 20 he was assigned to Extended Spring Training, and on June 7 he was assigned back to the Lakewood BlueClaws. On June 16 he was moved up to Clearwater again; on June 18 it was back to Lakewood, and again on the 21 back to Clearwater. On June 30 Keoni was moved up to the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, the AAA affiliate of the Phillies. (The IronPigs play in the North Division of the International League.) On July 9 Keoni was assigned back to Reading, and then on July 18 promoted back to Lehigh Valley. On July 26 he was once again assigned to Lakewood. August 2 found Keoni assigned to Reading, where he finished out the season with a .207 batting average for Reading, and a .260 average for the season, after playing in only 57 games.
In 2012 Keoni was a part of the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. He was one of the coaches for their Rookie League affiliate, the Gulf Coast League Pirates. In 2013 he was promoted to manager of the Dominican Summer League Pirates 2 team, a Foreign Rookie League team. The Pirates announced in January of 2014 that Derenne would be the hitting coach for the West Virginia Power, their A-level team in Charleston, WV. He continued in that capacity for the 2015 season.
For 2016 the Pirates moved Keoni up to the Class A-Advanced affiliate, the Bradenton (FL) Marauders, which play in the Florida State League. He was the hitting coach, and continued that role in 2017.
In 2018 the Pirates moved Keoni to be the hitting coach for their AA team, the Altoona Curve in the Eastern League.
2019 brought a chance for Keoni, as he moved to the Chicago Cubs organization. He is the hitting coach for their AAA affiliate, the Iowa Cubs in Des Moines.
Keoni moved to the Kansas City Royals in 2020, where he was the Assistant Hitting Coordinator in 2020 and 2021, working with teams at all levels of the Royals organization.
In November 2021, the Kansas City Royals announced that Keoni would be the assistant hitting coach in 2022 for the Kansas City Royals, making it his first position in the major leagues. He continued in that position in 2023 through 2025.
