The original iBook. It was introduced in July 1999 in two different colors (Blueberry and Tangerine), and later was available in Graphite. It was discontinued in September 2000. It was the first Apple computer to be able to use AirPort, Apple’s name for its wireless connectivity. When introduced, it cost $1599.
This iBook has a 300 MHz PowerPC 750 (G3) processor. Originally it had a 3.2 GB hard drive, no floppy drive (following the lead of the iMac), a CD-ROM drive, 32 MB of RAM and a 12.1” display.
