The first of the G4 iBooks, this was introduced in October 2003 and discontinued in April 2004. The 14.1 inch, 933 MHz version (M9388LL/A) retailed for $1499. It came with a 40 GB hard drive, a slot-loading DVD/CD-RW combo drive, 128 MB of RAM, and a 56k modem. Mine has an AirPort Extreme card in it, and the RAM has been increased to 640 MB. It initially came with OS X 10.3.2 installed.
This was purchased in June 2004 at CompUSA for $900, a significant savings over the original price.
