The Power Mac 5400 was introduced in April 1996 at a price of $1500, and wad discontinued in March 1998. It used a PowerPC 603e processor available in 120, 180 or 200 MHz. It had either a 1.2 or 1.6 GB hard drive, a 4x or 8x CD-ROM drive, and a 1.44 MB 3.5” floppy drive.
This was a computer that I managed to scrounge. It replaced our Performa 6205CD for our kids to use. The 5400 was replaced with a used B&W G3. I no longer have it, and can’t remember the speed of the computer, but I recently found the manual for it that I printed from Apple’s web site, confirming which computer of this form factor I owned.
