Obituary from Washington Observer-Reporter:
“William S. Hart of 227 Bluff Street, Canonsburg, died at 1:03 a.m. Thursday, February 2, 1978, at Canonsburg General Hospital.
Born in Houston, he was the son of the late J. Ernest Hart and Goldie Grimm Hart.
He was a partner in the Standard Auto Parts Company of Canonsburg. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of V.F.W. Post 191, Canonsburg, and Chartiers Lodge No. 297, F. and A.M.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Shillito Hart; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Becky) Monnett of Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. Fred (Nancy) Federoff of McMurray; two sons, William Samuel Jr. of Springfield, Ill., and John Benton Hart, at home.
Also surviving are a brother and two sisters, David E. Hart, Mrs. Gail Malugen and Mrs. Maxine Burt, all of Houston; and two grandchildren. Two brothers, George and Loyal, are deceased.”
