“Farmington — Mr. Donald E. Doughty, 76, of Farmington, passed away November 6, 2005, at Community Manor Nursing Home, Farmington. Don was born April 2, 1929, in Farmington, to Walter Wood Doughty and Minnie Melinda ‘Burch’ Doughty. Also preceding in death were: 2 sisters: Nell Ridenour and Glenda Miller and 2 Brothers: Glenwood Doughty and Dr. Alfred W. Doughty.
Don was a retired State Trooper with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Survivors Include: 1 Daughter: Kelly Gabriel, of Farmington; 2 Sons: Ed (and Rhonda) Doughty, of Farmington; Glen (and Sheila) Doughty, of St. Louis. 3 Grandchildren: Deanna Gabriel, of Denver, Colorado; Brandi Jarvis, of Farmington, and Kaitlin Doughty, of Farmington, Also, several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Visitation will be today, 5 to 9 p.m., at Taylor Funeral Service, Inc., Farmington. Visitation resumes Wednesday morning, 7 a.m., with funeral services, Wednesday, 11 a.m., November 9, 2005, at the Taylor Funeral Service Chapel, with Rev. Rocky Good, officiating.
