Mrs Elizabeth Wingett, 74, of Main St, Wampum, died at 7:15 pm yesterday in the Jameson Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Geneva, Switzerland, May 3, 1895, to the late John and Henriette Demilliaac Martin. Her husband, Morton H Wingett, died in 1960. Mrs Wingett was a member of the Lutheran Church of Victorville, Calif. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Kenneth (Lorraine) Gerow of Wampum; a son, Dr Marcel Wingate of Buffalo, NY; and three granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and a sister. Friends will be received at the Harold J Marshall Funeral Home, Main St, Wampum....A service will be conducted at 1:30 pm Friday at the funeral home by the Rev George Nolder of Wampum Methodist Church. Interment will follow the service in Clinton Cemetery.
