When Fowlerville High School moved to the Sharpe Road building in the fall of 1982, the Middle School (grades 6-8) moved from the two Collins Street buildings into the old High School. After the Junior High School was built, it became a grade 5-6 building. It is the district's oldest building. It has undergone some cosmetic renovations over the years, the most recent during the summers of 2006 and 2007. It is named for a former district superintendent.
