Phase Tech 3.5T Speakers
Originally we bought these to use as part of a surround sound system, but when our living room became too small for the ESS amt-1b speakers, we moved these into the living room. Once again, these came from The Stereo Shoppe in Lansing, MI, and were purchased in 1998 for $260/pair. While their sound is quite acceptable, they don't sound as glorious as the ESS, nor do I expect them to.
I built the stands from oak.
