August 8, 1812 and died Feb. 27, 1836, Jacksonville (Wind Ridge), Greene Co., PA. “My records differ from yours in that Jacob’s birthday is off by 2 weeks, Nancy’s last name is Polen not Poland and her date of death is off by 2 years. I know that my date of death is probably wrong since Nancy’s daughter, Elizabeth would have been born 6 months after her mother’s death. As to the last name I am checking on that. If Nancy is in fact a Poland then she is the daughter of Cavalier Poland and Susannah Jacobs. Susannah is Julia Ann Jacobs Courtwright’s sister.”185

Carol Loar now agrees that Nancy Polen/Nancy Poland are the same person, and that she was the daughter of Cavalier Poland and Susannah Jacobs.
