“Nina Staggers
Resident of Kirby
Nina Staggers, 75, of Kirby, died Wednesday, February 9, 2000, in Park Ridge Hospital, Arden, N.C.
She was born March 9, 1924, in Elkins, W.Va., a daughter of Huff and Nancy McCulley Louk.
In 1961, she married Robert L. Staggers, who died in 1998.
Surviving are three sons, Bob Staggers of Lompo, Calif., Gene Louk of Davistown and John Louk of Travelers Rest, S.C.; three brothers, Earnest Louk of Breensboro, Jurd Louk of Virginia, and Gail Louk of Ohio; two sisters, Florence Luckey of Dilliner and Irene Wheeler of Georgia; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Guy and Sherman Louk; and three sisters, Abie Louk, Missouri Louk and Bernice Jones.”245
