“Opal E. Locke
NAVARRE - Opal E. Locke, 86, of Navarre, died Monday (Sept. 15, 2003) at the Doctor’s Hospital of Stark County, Canton.
She was born March 15, 1917, in Hebron, Pleasants County, W.Va., to Walter A. and Trudia A. Jones Locke. She was retired from the former Colin Anderson Center after 16 years of service as an aide.
She is survived by one son, Donzel Locke of Canton; one daughter, Shelva Jean Rhoden and her husband, Jimmie, of Minerva; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Phyllis Hall of St. Marys, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl O. Locke; one daughter, Arlene Locke; her parents; two sisters, neva and Marie Cornell; and three brothers, Norman, Winfred and Harold Locke.
Services are at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ingram Funeral Home in St. Marys with the Rev. Jim Kelly officiating. Burial is in St. Marys IOOF Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5 to 9 p.m. today and noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.”
