Norman G. Locke
Died February 28, 1997
Norman G. Locke, 74, of Philo, Ohio, died February 28, at his residence after a long illness.
Born September 11, 1922, in Hebron, he retired from McKenzie Oil Company. He was a World War II Veteran and a member of VFW Post 10275, DAV of Duncan Falls and American Legion Post 29, Zanesville.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Deavers Locke; one son, Norman Smith Locke of Virginia; one step-son, Russell Wickman of Gaysport; one stepdaughter, Connie Hale of Philo; three sisters, Opal Locke, and Phyllis Hall of St. Marys and Neva Cornell of Vienna; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Alvia and Trudy Jones Locke; an infant daughter, Marilyn M. Locke; two brothers, Winfred and Harold Locke; and one sister, Marie Cornell.
DeLong-Baker and Lanning Funeral Home in Zanesville was in charge of arrangements.
