Grace E. Locke
Died August 6, 1981
Grace E. Locke, 85, St. Marys, died last Wesnesday evening at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Parkersburg.
She was born in Pleasants County, daughter of the late John and Sophie Martin Locke. She was a retired Pleasants County school teacher, belonged to the First Baptist Church in St. Marys, the Rachel Circle, and the American Baptist Women.
Survivors include one brother, Lewis Locke of Parkersburg, four sisters, Mrs. Ora Wagner and Miss Fonda Locke, both of St. Marys, Mrs. Margaret Green of Parkersburg and Mrs. Ruth Kane of Chicago, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Sunday at the Ruttencutter Funeral Home in St. Marys with the Rev. William P. Snider officiating. Interment was in the St. Marys IOOF Cemetery.365
