“Claude E. Locke
Died January 19, 1980
Funeral services were conducted January 21 at the Edward A. Schepner Funeral Home in Pittsburgh, Pa., for Claude E. Locke who passed away at the Allegheny General Hospital following a short illness.
Locke was born in Pleasants County, the son of the late John Ralph (J.R.) and Sophia Martin Locke. He spen his early life in this county and graduated from St. Marys High School with the class of 1927. He later became an employee of Joseph Horne Company in the window display department until his retirement in 1973.
Locke was married to Helen MacCauley, who preceded him in death in December 1974. They ware parents of three sons, Claude E. Jr., Robert and Norman, and grandparents of five grandsons, all living in Pittsburgh.
Other survivors include one brother, Lewis Locke, Parkersburg; five sisters, Mrs. Margaret Green, also of Parkersburg, Mrs. Ruth Kane, Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Ora B. Wagner and Grace and Fonda Locke, St. Marys. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends.”365
