Obituary:
“Otis Huffman Cumberledge, 65, of Holbrook, (Nettle Hill), died at 5 A.M. Saturday, April 12, 1969 in her home. Death was unexpected.
She was born March 7, 1904, daughter of the late Jesse and Annie Kerns Huffman.
Her husband, William Cumberledge, died in 1934.
She spent all her life in the Nettle Hill area where she was a member of the Bethany Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son , William Cumberledge, of Wellington, Ohio; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers: Arthur Huffman, of Pittsburgh; and Herbert Huffman, of Washington, and two sisters: Bessie Darling, of Redlands, Calif., and Elizabeth Pettit, of Washington. Two of her grandsons, David and Gary Robinson, had made their home with her all their lives.”97
