Ruth Emma Bills born March 2, 1918 Borland, West Virginia married 14 April 1949 Akron, Ohio to Pascoe Grenfell Rowe born 22 Sept 1914 in St. Just, Cornwall.
Ruth E. Rowe, 87, passed away Dec. 26, 2005. Ruth was born in Borland, W. Va., to parents, Zelma and Warren and lived most of her life in Akron and Mogadore. She retired from the Summit County Children's Service Board after 33 years of service and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Pascoe G.; son, Robert L.; a sister and two brothers; she is survived by her brother, Robert (Mae) Bills; sister, Juanita Thompson; daughter-in-law, Marion; grandchildren, Pat and Robert; cousins, Percy (Maria) Grenfell, Patsy Hissem, and Mick (Martha Jane) Hostetler; most precious great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Kinsey; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
Ruth was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be missed by everyone who knew her. She always took the time to spoil her family, including her cat, Susie. Special thanks to Donna Purvis, Kathy Crew, Linda Andrie, and all of the caregivers who were able to help Ruth remain at home living independently.
Funeral service Friday, 12:30 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., AKRON. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
