Ronald L. Adkins, age 64, of Robinson Township passed away surrounded by family on November, 18, 2023.
Born on December 24, 1958 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he is the son of the late Mary Jane and Willard Adkins. Beloved husband to Penny Adkins, and step-father to Ray (Camie) Hubbard, and Dawn Beair.

Brother of John W. (Nida) Adkins, Ray F. (Linda) Adkins, Donna (Lisa) Adkins, Charles F. (Elaine) Adkins, sister- in- law Patricia Adkins, and brother- in- law Olin Garbeth. Ronald was preceded in death by his brother Willard Adkins, and sister Francis Garbeth.

Ronald was blessed with five grandchildren, Brittany, Justin, and Conner Hubbard, Hailey Beair, and George White. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ronald was a retired River Boat Captain with American Electrical Power, and was most recently working for Borghese Lane LLC focused on inland towing and fleeting. When he wasn’t on the river, Ronald enjoyed golfing. Ronald and Penny have spent the last 32 years together, creating a beautiful life for themselves. Penny described him as an excellent husband, that was crazy about his grandkids.

His care and compassion will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
