“Thomas Leuellen Taylor 92, lived in Radnor died Saturday, June 26, 2004. Born April 20, 1912, in Marion County, to Arthur and Bertha (Parish) Taylor. He was their eldest son. He was retired from farming and sheep shearing. He was a state sheep shearing champion. One spring, he sheared 4,000 sheep. He was an avid "Reds" fan. He was a charter member of the Fulton Creek Friends Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He is survived By: Thomas Taylor is survived by his wife of nearly 71 years: Thelma Mae (Schultz) Taylor, 1 son: Lowell (Aldena) Taylor of Radnor, 3 daughters: Pat (Charlie) Snare of Marion; Sherry (Bill) Shelton of Keller, Texas; Linda (Phil) Seiter of Blanchard, Michigan, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 sister: Ruth (Gene) Clady of Richwood. He was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur and Bertha Taylor, 8 brothers and sisters and 1 great-grandson: Jack Calvin. Ballinger Funeral Home, in Richwood, is handling the arrangements. A celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Fulton Creek Friends Church with Reverend Wayne Evans and Reverend Paul William officiating. Interment will be in Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call Monday, June 28, 2004 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Fulton Creek Friends Church, 10950 Fulton Creek Road in Richwood. Memorial contributions may be made to Quality of Life Hospice, 278 Barks Road West, Marion Ohio 43302 or Fulton Creek Church Building Fund 10950 Fulton Creek Road, Richwood, Ohio 43344.”
