Obituary:
“Maxine Grim Stewart
Teacher in Washington County and West Virginia
Maxine Grim Stewart, 90, of Wheeling, W.Va., died Tuesday, April 21, 1998, at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born October 13, 1907, in Washington, daughter of Samuel B. and Annabell Moore Grim.
Mrs. Stewart was a longtime teacher in Washington County and in Ohio County, W. Va., where she retired from Ritchie School in Wheeling. She was a member of the Warwood Methodist Church, Wheeling, and a member of the Claysville Chapter fo the Eastern Star. She received her associate degree in education from Washington and Jefferson College.
Her husband, Charles L. Stewart, is deceased.
Surviving are two sons, Robert of Philadelphia and William of Haymarket, Va.; three grandchildren, Ellen L. Stewart, Leah B. Stewart and Laura S. Stewart.
Deceased are a brother, Harold Grim and a sister, Dorothy Rhodes.”
