“Allison M. Peters of R.D. 2, New Cumberland, died Jan. 9 at East Liverpool City Hospital following a long illness. He was 76 years old.

He was born March 3, 1900 in Putman County, W.Va., a son of the late Ezra Peters and Ada Wilcoxen Peters.

He was retired from the Homer Laughlin China Company in 1964 and wa a member of I.B.P.A.W.

He was married to Dorothy Locke Peters Sept. 10, 1934.

Surviving are his widow, Dorothy E. Lock Peters; one son, William E. Peters of Newell; one daughter, Mrs. Janet Beal of East Liverpool; one sister, Mrs. Bonnie Varner of East Liverpool, four grandchildren.

Services were held at the Chester Chapel of the Arner Funeral Homes Jan. 11 with Ronald Hand officiating. Burial was in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens, Newell.”
