Clarence C. Grimm, 58 of 141 Marie St, died Friday at 1 a.m. in Weirton General Hospital. He had resided in Weirton 27 years coming from Salem, W. Va.
He was born Nov. 18, 1910, in Oxford, located in Doddridge County, W. Va., son of the late Clem Maise and Emma Gertrude Prunty Grimm.
Mr. Grimm was married Oct. 17, 1950, at Oakland, Md., to Louetta Cline.
He attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Weirton. He served in the Army during World War II.
Mr. Grimm was a retired checker for the Weirton Steel Division.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Patricia Baker of Follansbee and Mrs. Thomas (Janet) Cunningham of Weirton; one son, Rodger Grimm of Weirton; two brothers, Dale of Pullman, W. Va., and Lester Grim of Oxford; one sister, Mrs. James Vogeding, and three grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home today after 1 p.m.
The body will lie in state at the Wesleyan Methodist Church Sunday from 12 noon until time of services at 2 p.m. The Rev. Marvin Taylor will officiate. Burial will be made in Three Springs Cemetery.
