“Kenneth Grimm
Kenneth Grimm, 83, of Forestville, Con., died Tuesday, Apr. 20, 1999, at New Britain General Hospital.
He was born in Grantsville, the son of the late Newton Lee and Winnie Ferguson Grimm, and resided in Forestville for more than 60 years. He was vice president of Walgren Tree Experts, West Hartford, before retiring in 1980 with 30 years of service. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, former president of Connecticut Tree Protection Association, appointed by former Gov. Ella Grasso as chairman of Connecticut Tree Protection Examining Board, and member of West Hartford Rotary, Franklin Lodge 56, AF & AM, Bristol, and York Rite, 32nd Degree.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Cochrane of Southington and Ilene Rindfleisch of Bristol; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including Charles, Glen and Ersel Roberts of Nobe and Theda Grogg of Nobe.
Services were held at Asbury U.M. Church. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.”1339
