Charles Thomas Simers, 72, of Grantsville, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, at his home
He was born in Calhoun County, the son of Callie and Ida Curry Simers.
Surviving are two brothers, Burl Simers and John Barr Simers; two nieces, Sandra Bugby and Cynthia Simers; one nephew, Charles Richards; three great-nieces, Bethany White, Alexa Richards and Brogan Richards; and three great-nephews, David Bugby, Kyler Propst and Mason Propst.
Graveside service will be held Thursday, 10 a.m., at Nobe Cemetery, with Rev. Alfred Hickman officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Calhoun Welfare of Animals Group (WAG). Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com.
