“Laura G. Kelley
Laura Geraldine Kelley, 87, of Grantsville, W.Va., died early Friday, July 14, 2006, at Minnie Hamilton Health Longterm Care.
She was born Oct. 8, 1918, at White Pine, the daughter of the late Francis and Della Grimm Kelley. She was a member of the Cherry Fork Church. She worked in Akron, Ohio, during World War II and then as a beautician for many years in Grantsville, W.Va.
She is survived by one sister, Frances Jean Yoak Miller (Odus); and one brother, Donald Kelley (Willa Lea).
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Carolina Barr, Gladys Whipkey and Genevieve Ward; two brothers, Virgil Kelley and Blenden Kelley; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with the Rev. Alfred Hickman officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Grantsville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Sunday at the funeral home.
