Obituary:
“Waynesburg, Nov. 20/26?
Perry Albert Davis, 64, of Carmichaels, well known painter and paper hanger, died today in his home.
Mr. Davis was born Dec. 23, 1879, in Bristoria. He was a son of George W. and Sadie Denis Davis. For a number of years he worked at his trade in Waynesburg, but lived in Carmichaels for the last 26 years. He was a charter member of the Carmichaels and Cumberland Township Volunteer Fire Company, and was always active in the organization, filling many of the company’s offices.
His wife, Sadie Hathaway Davis, survives.
Also surviving are the following step children; Miss Charlotte McMinn, at home; Mrs. Thomas Marks, Jr., Wilkes-Barre; and Harvey McMinn of Dayton, Ohio; one brother, John Davis, Waynesburg, and several nieces and nephews.”
