“Mittie M. Welling, 76, of Brave, died yesterday at 5:30 a.m. in Greene County Memorial Hospital.
She was born January 5, 1900, at Calhoun, W. Va., daughter of the late Meeker and Jesse Grim Moniger. She resided for many years in Aleppo, and spent the last 16 years in Brave. She was a member of the Centennial Church of God in Aleppo.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Welling on February 19, 1960. Also preceding her in death are two brothers, Edison and Rex Moniger, and two sisters, Sadie Murray and Brooksie Kerr.”1435
