Alta Eileen Morris, 96, of Lee Center died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at the Franklin Grove Living and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin Grove. She was born Oct. 10, 1916, in Prosperity, Pa., to Albert and Emily (Grimm) Shriver. She worked as a housekeeper for Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital in Dixon prior to her retirement. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Lee Center, where she was involved in the Ladies Circle and the Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a Rebecca and a member of Lee County Home Extension.
