“Robert Stoy Kinney, 56, of East High Street, Waynesburg, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1948, in the Greene County Memorial Hospital, after a lingering illness. A farmer and carpenter, he was the last member of his family.
Born Sept. 5, 1892, in Jackson Township, he was a son of the late WIlliam and Rebecca Hughes Kinney. His wife, Gay Kinney, preceded him in death nine years ago. He had spent most of his life in Greene County.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. William Bissett, New Freeport; one son, Keith Kinney, Waynesburg, and four grandchildren.
