“James Wesley Burch, Farmington, was dead on arrival at Mineral Area Osteopathic Hospital at the age of 79. he was born may 5, 1901 in Farmington to the late Commodore Perry and Emma Mund Burch. he was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
He was married to Helen M. Rost Burch, Farmington, who survives along with the following children: Elsie (Mrs. Wesley) Trick of Anchorage, Alaska, Lorene Burch of Farmington, Ruth (Mrs. Bob) Lacey of Farmington, Mrs. Namoi Bangle of Houston, Texas, Jean (Mrs. LaVerne) Link of Anchorage, Alaska, Anne (Mrs. Garland) White of Late St. Louis, Earl Burch of Cuba, Paul Burch of Farmington, Joe Burch of Wrangell, Alaska, Al Burch of Houston, Texas and Larry Burch of Indianapolis, Ind. He is also survived by three sisters; Mrs. Rose Bales of Farmington, Wilma Thompson of Farmington and Dona Kassabaum of Farmington, 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at 7 p.m. today at the Miller Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the First Church of God in Farmington with the Rev. Bill Wiles officiating, assisted by the Rev. Harold Mobley and the Rev. James Glover. Burial will be in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
If desired, memorials may be made to the St Francois County Churches of God.”
