499Obituary:
“Mrs. Ethel Loughman Morris, 65, wife of I. N. Morris of New Freeport, RD 1, died at her home at New Freeport, RD 1 Saturday morning, March 5, 1949, after a three week illness.
Daughter of the late John and Mary anderson Loughman, she was born on Jan. 26, 1884, at Delphene, Jackson Township. She spent her lifetime in Greene County.
Besides her husband, other survivors include two sons and two daughters, Stoy E. Morris, New Freeport, RD 1, Floyd Morris, Holbrook; Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Rhome, Minerva, Ohio, RD 2 and Mrs. Bessie Ward, Cameron, W. Va. A sister, Mrs. Vadie Cage, of Waynesburg, and 32 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive.
Mrs. Morris was a member of the Centennial Church, Aleppo Township.”
