“Former Resident Of City Dies In Tampa
Mrs. Maude Wiley Hineman, former resident of Marietta, died Friday afternoon at her home in Tampa, Fla., according to word received here by relatives. She had been ill for more than a year and her death was not unexpected.
Mrs. Hineman was born in Marietta, the daughter of George W. and Maria E. Wiley, both deceased. Twenty years ago she was married to George Hineman in Marietta. They lived in Marietta for several years and then moved to Pittsburgh, Pa. Four years ago they went to Tampa.
She was a member of the Methodist Church, the Eastern Star and the Pythian Sisters. While in Pittsburgh she took a prominent part in the affairs of the Pythian Sisters and the Easter Stars.
Besides her husband she is survived by one sister, Mrs. George Gaddel, of 116 Maple street, and one brother, George Wiley, of Sixth street.
The body will be brought to Marietta for burial. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock on Monday afternoon at the Wieser & Cawley chapel on Putnam street. Burial will be made in Oak Grove.”922
