8Obituary:
“David E. Crawford of St. Louis, Mo. passed away Saturday, November 4, 1989, in Christian Hospital N.E., St. Louis, Mo., at the age of 43 years eleven months and 18 days. He was born, December 22, 1945 in St. Louis, Mo., the son of Clarence and Pauline (Tedder) Crawford, of Belgrade, Mo.
He was united in marriage, August 7, 1971 to Sharon Kay Young. Two sons, Dale and Kevin, were born to this union. Besides his loving and devoted wife, sons, and parents, he is survived by two Brothers, Allen and wife Linda of Florissant, Mo. and Donald and wife Carol, of Ferguson, Mo.; one sister Carol Hellwig and husband Lance of Jennings, Mo.; His Mother and Father-In-Law Marcella and Gilbert Dieckmeyer, of St. Charles, Mo.; Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of relatives and friends.
David was a faithful member of Chambers Park Baptist Church, of Spanish Lake, Mo. He was employed as a St. Louis County Park Supervisor. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps, in 1965, and served 18 months in Vietnam.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, November 6, 1989, 7 P.M. at the Chambers Park Church, with his pastor Elder Ronald Fields officiating, under the direction of Buchholz Spanish Lake Mortuary. Interment was Tuesday, November 7, 1989, 11 A.M., at the Liberty Baptist Cemetery, Belgrade, Mo., with Britton Funeral Home of Potosi in charge.
Serving as pallbearers were Jeff, Kirk and Steven Crawford, Mark Scott, David Hellwig, and Dennis Shell.”
