Rachel was disowned on February 7, 1776 for marriage by a magistrate, but on December 9, 1789, her acknowledgment was accepted and she received a certificate to Kennet Montly Meeting on February 3, 1790.

The family received a certificate to Hopewell, VA on March 13, 1794 and then in Redstone, Fayette Co., PA on February 4, 1799.1615
