He was a man of considerable importance, but the date of his death is unknown1. (The records of Yskeiviog prior to 1662, have been lost. The Register of Bodfari contains an entry of the burial of a Rees John Wynne, a freeholder of Aberwheeler, 20 February, 1901, but this was a kinsman) His wife's name has not been ascertained.
