John Wynne, twelfth in descent from Ednowain Bendew, in the ownership of the lands in the parish of Yskeiviog, Flintshire, died there prior to 1582. He married Katharine, daughter and heiress of Ithel ap Jenkin, ap David, ap Howell, and had thirteen children, the eldest of whom was vicar of Caerways, the ancestral house of worship.
