“Donald L. Grimm
Donald L. Grimm, 77, of Route 1, West Union, W.Va., Summers Community, departed this life on Monday, Feb. 20, 2006, at Clarksburg, W.Va.
Mr. Grimm was born Sept. 28, 1928, at Pennsboro, W.Va., to the late Lester Charles and Ilda Leon Squires Grimm. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years and saw active military service in Vietnam. He was a graduate of Doddridge County High School with the class of 1948 and had been employed by the Doddridge County Farm Service at West Union. He was a member of the South Fork Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Edra L. Straley Grimm; sons, Ronnie Grimm of Central Bridge, N.Y., Randall Grimm of Sunnyside Community, West Union, and Don Grimm of Largo, Fla.; daughters, Rebecca Grimm of Charleston, W.Va., and Donna Ball of Holbrook, W.Va.; sisters, Ramona Grimm and Judy Moran of West Union; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the South Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Arthur Cox officiating. Interment will be in the South Fork Baptist Church Cemetery at South Fork in Doddridge County. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.”
