Richard is mentioned in correspondence between Job Darlington and his son, Abraham. He lived at Darnhall, Cheshire, England, until his second marriage, when he moved to Aston juxta Mondrum in Acton parish, Cheshire.1615

Richard had several children by his first wife, including John and several daughters. He had property in Darnhall and Aston. His will was dated 1735 and proven in 1739. He left the Darnhall estate to his son, John, and the Aston property to his son, Abraham.1615
