Johnson, Alice, 103, of Port Clinton, Ohio, formerly of Cameron, W.Va., died June 30, 2004 in the Edgewood Manor Care Center, Port Clinton.

She was born April 18, 1901 in Earnshaw, W.V., the daughter of the late John M. and Lucresia (Roberts) Grim.

She was a member of the Resurrection Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, American Legion Auxiliary No. 18, Cameron, W.Va. and she was a Gold Star Mother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert P. Johnson on January 27, 1962, whom she married on February 15, 1920; a son, Herman Johnson; a daughter, Hope Yoho; a brother, John Grim, and two sisters, Goldie Matthews and Kathryn Kirkpatrick.

Surviving are her sons, Clark (Elsie) Johnson of Martinsburg, W.Va. and Jack (Barbara) Johnson of Somerset, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Cameron, W.Va. where services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 3, 2004 with Pastor Larry Holtz officiating .Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Cameron.
