“Quinn, John W., 61 of Clearview Avenue, Wheeling, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, in Wheeling Hospital. He was a service manager at West Virginia Ohio Motor Sales, Inc., Wheeling, and a Methodist, and was a former fire chief for the Clearview Volunteer Fire Department. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Thomas; his father, John Quinn; his mother and stepfather, Margaret J. Kimble Quinn Davis. Surviving are his wife, Suzanne Wilkinson Quinn; four daughters, Terrie Shaffer of Powhatan Point, Debbie Ott, Brenda Quinn and Susan Benner, all of Wheeling; two brothers, Robert L. and Thomas F. Quinn, both of Wheeling; five granddaughters; several nieces and nephews. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Saturday and Sunday at Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave., Wheeling, where services will be held at 10 A.M. Monday. Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard. Memorial contributions may be made to the Warwood United Methodist Church or Wheeling Park High School Bluegrass Alliance Club.”
