Wayne passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at the age of 63. He was born on Dec. 29, 1943, in East Liverpool. The son of Doris H. and Earl A. Locke.

A resident of Moreno Valley, Calif., of 19 years. Wayne was an active member of the community, a dedicated educator for nearly 40 years, an Eagle Scout, and a proud member of the Moreno Valley Morning Optimist Club. For more than a decade he walked in the Relay of Life to benefit the American Cancer Society.

In addition to his parents and beloved mother-in-law Wanda Pisarsky, Wayne was preceded in death by his brother Ralph.

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Marsha; daughter Amanda and husband Jake Sullivan of Riverside; son Jonathan and his wife Lara of Moreno Valley; and brother Darrel of East Liverpool.

His life was highlighted by four grandchildren; Damien Sullivan, 8; Jaden Locke, 3; Indica Sullivan, 3; and Cash Sullivan, 3 months. Although the time he had with them was brief it was filled with love and joy. Wayne enjoyed volunteering his time, going on vacations with his family and friends, woodworking, sewing, and doting on his wife.

Wayne will be missed and loved by all those who had the opportunity to get to know the kind hearted, quick witted, fun loving, caring individual who made an impact on whoever he met.

A private internment will be held at Menifee Valley Memorial Park. Following the private internment, A Remembrance of Life Celebration and British High Tea will be held at Edwards Mansion on Sunday, April 22 from 3-5 p.m. in the East Pavilion.
