Lena "Billie" Weekley, 93, of Crystal Lake, West Union, departed this life on Tues. May 24, 2005. She was born on April 19, 1912, in Alma a daughter of the late Cyrus V. and Martha Kimball DeLoe. On May 20, 1931, she married Harold Weekley who preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1988. She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Gretchen Weekley, seven sisters, Winnie Underwood, Minnie Farris, Lynna Ryder, Mable Spencer, Virginia Riggs, Emogene Costilow and Mayme Powell, three brothers, Harry Earl and Charles DeLoe.
Surviving is one son, Robert Weeklely, Clarksburg, three grandchildren, Robert H. Weeklely, Jr., Chard Michael and David J. Weeklley, two great grandchildren, Larissa and Donovan Weekley, one sister Ruth Reger, West Union and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Weekley had attended Fairview Church at Wilbur and was a member of Barnes Memorial Baptist, Clarksburg. She was a member of the Crystal Lake Club.
Funeral Services were conducted on Fri. May 27, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front St. West Union with Pastor David Hulme officiating. Interment was in the Masonic Memorial Park, West Union. Visitation was on Thurs. May 26th in the funeral home chapel form 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Fri. until time of service.
