Harold E. Rainey
Oct. 24, 1910-Sept. 13, 2001

Harold E. Rainey, 90, formerly of 405 E. South St., Arcadia, died at 955 a.m. Thursday at Heartland.

He was born in Forsoria to Fredrick H. and Myrtle Yost Rainey. On July 24, 1933, he was married to Minta Criss Rainey in Rockland. She survives in Arcadia.

Also are surviving are two daughters, Shirley A. Etoll of Findlay and Mrs. Gary (Marilyn K.) Auck of Bucyrus; one brother, Charles L. Rainey of Elyria; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Eatherton of Florida and Mrs. Mary Nugester of Arlington; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one grandson; one great-great grandchild; one brother, Roy Rainey; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Estep, Mrs. hazel Schook and Mabel Rainey.

Mr. Rainey was a miller for the Mennel Milling Company of Fostoria for 35 years and retired in 1975.

He was a member of Arcadia United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria, where the Rev. James Ritchie of the Arcadia United Methodist Church will officiate services at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Interment will be in Knollcrest Gardens, Arcadia.
