On October 15, 1924, the world was given an angel named, Ellen Elizabeth. She met the love of her life, Robert, at a USO dance in her beloved New York City. Their love for each other was what everyone hopes to find. Our world was a little darker on October 26, 2014 with her passing. Those mourning her passing are her beloved husband of 69 years, Robert; her 3 daughters, Diane Nunes, Carol Mock, and Margo Wheatley; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Hart of Fredricksburg, VA.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Howard F. and Ellen E. Moore and brothers, Howard, Joseph, and Thomas. She was a former employee of AT&T and a lingerie buyer for 22 years at the Lord & Taylor Store and The Diamond, in Charleston, WV. For the past 30 years Ellen has served in the ECW at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church in Gulf Breeze.

Ellen was an avid gardener, loved cooking, entertaining, and being a homemaker. With her adoring husband, Robert, at her side, she was at her happiest when her home was filled with loved ones.
