KLINKMAN, Peggy C., 91, of Florida, formerly of New Cumberland, W.Va., passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012.
Born Nov. 15, 1920, in Sistersville, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John and Hermia (Thorn) Shriver.
She formerly worked as a clerk for the former Murphy five and dime store.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garfield Austin Fidler Jr.
Surviving are her children, MaryAnn (Don) Smith of Thonotosassa Fla., Peggy (John) Constantine of Elon, N.C., Garfield Garey (Helen) Fidler of Weirton, John Norman Fidler of Thonotosassa Fla., Phoebe Sharon (James) Burdine of Follansbee, Pamela Helen (Roy) Groppee of New Cumberland, William Joseph (Pam) Fidler of New Cumberland, and John Robert Fidler of Florida; 22 grandchildren, 60 great- grandchildren, seven great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Nixon Funeral Home in New Cumberland, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2012. Burial will follow at New Cumberland Cemetery.
