Jacqueline S. Farr
Jacqueline Sue Northrop Farr, 72, of Mineral Wells, passed away April 1, 2007, at the Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, N.C.
She was born March 20, 1935, in Marietta, Ohio, a daughter of the late Floyd and Wanda Longfellow Stoffel. She attended Marietta High, retired from Cytec Ind. at Willow Island, was a member of both the Order of Eastern Star 31 in St. Marys, Women of the Moose 1118, a member of the Elks Lodge, Parkersburg, and she was a Methodist by faith.
She is survived by three sons, Rodney W. Northrop and Timothy (Amy) O. Northrop, both of St. Marys, and Todd E. (Shannon) Northrop of Marietta; two daughters, Angela (Glen) Smith of Marietta and Mary Shawn (Mark) Haddox of St. Marys; grandchildren, Amanda and Christopher Northrop, Joshua Horner, Jennalea, Corey, Kelsi, Lexi, Conner, Teddi, Jacob and Bernard Northrop, Cortney and Gabe Haddox and Emily and Hallie Northrop; five great-grandchildren, Jalyn Burke, Cameron, Micayla and Landon Horner and Katelyn Huddleston. stepchildren, Robert Farr of Knoxville, Tenn., Beverly Minear of Williamstown and Jonathan Farr of Parkersburg; and one sister, Mary Bradford and late husband, Carl, of Williamstown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ted Northrop; and stepfather, Eugene Cortney (Pappy).
The Eastern Star service will be 2 p.m. Thursday with funeral services immediately following at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
