Harold Wayne Lough, 87 of Fairview passed away Thursday March 2, 2017 at his residence. Harold was born December 3, 1929 in Fairview, WV, son of the late Samuel Thomas Lough and Ellen Marie Brewer Lough.
Harold was a retired Manager of Bell's Market in Fairview where he worked for 46 years, and a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during World War II.
Survivors include his wife Barbara Booth Lough; two daughters, Kathy Statler and husband Ronnie of Blacksville, and Linda Broll and husband David of Fairview; four brothers, Robert Bernell Lough of Grafton, Leroy Lough of Fairview, Eugene Lough and wife Lou of Hagans, Jesse Lough and wife Phyllis of Florida, three sisters, Lois Lough of Fairview, Rose Harris of Waynesburg, PA and Edna Toothman of Fairview; grandchildren, Christy Cleghorn and husband Chris, David Broll II and wife Jessica, Jason Statler and wife Holly, Shelly Tennant and husband Michael, Kenny Statler and wife Heather, great grandchildren Madison and Jordyn Dean, Trey and Briella Broll, Nick and Colton Statler, Tyler and Kelsey Tennant, Taylor and Tucker Statler, and great great grandchild Zoey Statler.
In addition to his parents Harold is preceded in death by a sister Pauline Lough and two brothers, Virgil and Delmar Lough.
The Family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home Curry Chapel at 100 Grant Street, Fairview, Monday March 6, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at which time the funeral procession will proceed to the West Virginia National Cemetery for interment at 2:30 PM with Rev. Fred Eddy officiating the committal service. Full Military Rites will be conducted at graveside by the Taylor County Color Guard Unit.
