Chancy Homer Jones, 49 of Hundred died at 6:30 A.M. Monday October 28, 1968 at the Fairmont General Hospital. He was born July 29, 1919 at Fairview, WV, a son of Grover Cleveland and Bessie Shuman Thomas Jones. He was an employee of Hundred auto Service, Inc. Survivors include his widow, Mary Lough Jones, and one daughter, Mrs. Janice Kay Delaney of Hundred, four sons, John Eugene and Jackie Ray of Hundred, William Kermett of Glenville State College and Richard Paul with the Army in California, four brothers, Herbert of Metz, Reunion of Rivesville, and Burl of Wadestown, and Robert Barr of Weirton, two sisters, Mrs. Goldie Dobie of New Jersey, and Mrs. Cecil Wright of Hundred, and two grand children. Services were held Wednesday at 2 P.M. at the Hunt Funeral Home, with Rev. John Bowyer officiating, Burial was in Shriver Cemetery near Hundred.
