Nellie M. Locke, 81, of Sundale Nursing Home, Morgantown, formerly of Harrisville, died April 1, 2001, at Mon General Hospital, Morgantown.

She was born Dec. 21, 1919, in Gilmer County, daughter of the late B. Frank and Mona Cox Reaser.

She graduated from Pullman High School. She was a member of the Oxford Grange 526, and an active member of the Harrison Street United Methodist Church, Harrisville.

She is survived by a son and spouse, David and Sheryl Locke, of Morgantown; a daughter, Ernestine Houser, of Bedford, Va.; a brother, Charles Reaser, of Little Falls, Minn.; four grandchildren, Jill Locke, and Carey Locke, both of Morgantown, Peggy House r Markham, of Forest, Va., and Perri Houser Mason, of Bedford; and five great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Emery Dale Locke; a son-in-law, Robert Houser; five brothers, Paul Cox, Willard Reaser, Stanley Reaser, Bantz Reaser, and Cletus Reaser; and three sisters, Beulah Courtney, Alma Kennedy, and Meredith Montini .

Friends may call at Raigul Funeral Home, Harrisville (Ritchie County), from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday. Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, with the Rev. Arthur Cox officiating.
