Lucille L. Curry Haines, 90, of Waynesburg, PA, died at 11:37 AM Friday, December 16, 2011, in her home. She was born Friday, February 04, 1921 in Burton,WV A Daughter of the late Clarence W. Curry and Cora Lillie Garner Curry. Mrs.Haines lived in New Freeport until her Husband's death in 1988 when she moved to Waynesburg. She was a member of the Liming Ridge Church of Christ and while in Waynesburg attended the First Christian Church. She was a graduate of the Hundred WV. High School. Mrs. Haines was an active member of the Waynesburg Senior Citizens Center while her health permitted. She always enjoyed cooking and had won many cooking Contest. She also was a great quilter and loved traveling here and abroad. She had worked as Freeport Twp. secretary for several years and was a homemaker. Her Husband of Knob Fork WV. Woodrow Haines whom she married on June 05, 1946 died January 14, 1988. Surviving are 2 Daughters and their Husbands: Shirley (Tom) McBrayer, of Kenton, OH and Sharon (Charles) Kerr, of Carmichaels, PA 1 Son: Joseph Woodrow Haines, of Pittsburgh, PA 1 GrandSon: Charles Kerr II of Carmichaels, Pa. She will be missed by her family, friends and neighbors. Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, December 19, 2011 in Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,197 N. Maiden St Waynesburg, PA 15370 where services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 20, 2011 with Mike Hasselbring,minister.
